Kurt W. Wacker, LEED AP
Sales & Marketing Direction
Kurt Wacker brings to the Pacer Team 35+ years of sales, marketing, product development and service experience.   A Team-oriented leader with a passion toward environmentally conscious initiatives, Kurt oversees sales and customer relationships while helping develop new product and brand marketing strategies. Kurt has a BA Degree from Bowling Green State University and resides in Troy, Ohio.

James Barton
Senior Sales Development Manager
Jim brings many years experience in the mica and feldspar industry to the Pacer Sales and Product Development Team.  His has vast knowledge of the customers, products and applications related to these industries.  Jim has a BS Degree in Ceramic Engineering.

Jeanine Gould
Vice President Customer Service
Jeanine has been with Pacer Corporation 36 years working her way up from applying for a “rock picking position” to her current position of Vice President of Customer Service. She has had work experience in various Pacer departments such as human resources, logistics, sales and for the past 10 years - customer service.

Jeanine was born and raised in the Black Hills area.

She is dedicated to providing a “hands on” approach to each and every Pacer customer to assure the best quality customer service.

Pat Zeimet
Mica Plant Manager
Pat has been with Pacer for over 17 years as the Quality Assurance Manager and the Safety Director. Pat is currently the Plant Manager for our new mica processing facility.

Before starting with Pacer, Pat managed a farming and ranching operation and worked for Boeing Aero Space Division.

Pat was born and raised in the Black Hills and is a fourth generation rancher in the Pringle, SD area, the elk capitol of South Dakota. He has an associated degree in agriculture from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Pat is committed to meeting the needs of the customers with quality product and on time delivery.

Frank Sutterfield
Feldspar Plant Manager
Frank has been with Pacer for over 31 years all of which has been at various levels of responsibility in the feldspar processing facility. Frank started out as a mill helper and has been responsible for all facets of the operation and has been the Plant Manager for over 10 years.

Frank is a long time resident of Custer and the Black Hills area. He graduated from Custer High School and is a veteran of the US Army.

Frank’s unequaled knowledge of feldspar and the processing facility uniquely qualify him to continue the long traditions of manufacturing quality Custer Feldspar products.

Karen Schleining
Office Manager
Karen Schleining has been with Pacer for 27 years. She is the financial manager for the company and oversees the office staff. Prior to working at Pacer, Karen was Office Administrator with Custer State Park.

Karen devotes much of her time to her church serving as the Church Treasurer and currently serves as President of Custer’s City Council.
