ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

Pacer is dedicated to preserving and protecting the environment in which we function through wise use of natural resources, timely and effective land reclamation, prevention of pollution and willing compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

Our commitment to this environmental policy is substantiated by our current effort to become ISO 14001 certified by 2009.

Our execution of this policy is demonstrated by our mine reclamation efforts.  We have completed reclamation of thirteen mines with an additional seven projects in progress.  Some of these mines are old abandon mines not operated by Pacer, but are being reclaimed in cooperation with the US Forest Service.
